This small round plate features free-hand lettering in brown, reading "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" (from Psalm 119). Background is a golden/dijon yellow - the edges are shaded/antiqued, and the plate is sanded a little places for a distressed look.
Custom option: For no extra charge, we can paint the background a different color, with either black or white lettering. We can also paint a different verse.
Measures approx 6 inches. Finished with several coats of satin varnish.
Painted on a repurposed decorative wooden plate. Back is painted black, and signed by the artist. Indoor, decorative use only (not for using with unwrapped food). Clean with a soft cloth, do not get wet.
NO computers/vinyl/transfers/stencils/patterns are used on this, it is painted completely free-hand using the artist's exclusive design.
This is a handmade item, not a reproduction - Each plate will look a little different from the picture, as they are freehand painted, not mass produced. As with all hand-made artwork, brush-strokes are visible, and little imperfections that are characteristic of an item uniquely and lovingly made by the human hand.
